We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth in our Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and renewable energy portfolio. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with generator manufacturers or channel partners, with a strong understanding of market dynamics, financial analysis, and client relationship management in the energy sector.

Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in BESS for commercial and industrial applications.
- Analyze market trends, regulatory policies, and competitive landscapes to position the company effectively.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders — including utilities, EPCs, developers, and energy service providers.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and finance teams to deliver optimized BESS solutions to clients.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms to close profitable deals.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and partnerships.
- Lead the preparation and submission of proposals, RFPs, and tenders in coordination with internal teams.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field.
- 4–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategy within the energy storage, renewable, or power sectors.
- Proven track record of closing deals in BESS, solar + storage, or related solutions.
- Sound understanding of BESS concepts and financial modeling (PBP, ROI, IRR).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, incentives, and grid services (energy arbitrage, peak shaving, etc.).
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
