We are seeking a talented and motivated Shopify Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the Shopify platform and a strong understanding of e-commerce development. You’ll work closely with our design and marketing teams to create, customize, and maintain a high-performing Shopify store that delivers an exceptional user experience and drives business growth.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain custom Shopify themes and features.
- Convert mockups and specifications into fully functional Shopify stores.
- Customize and extend existing Shopify templates to meet specific project requirements.
- Integrate and configure third-party Shopify apps and develop custom app solutions as needed.
- Optimize website performance, speed, and responsiveness across all devices.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement attractive, user-friendly, and high-converting layouts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring optimal site functionality.
- Work with APIs, including Storefront API, AJAX API, and other integrations such as CRM, payment gateways, logistics, and analytics tools.
- Manage and maintain Meta fields, Shopify properties/objects, and custom theme components.
- Create and manage landing pages and promotional content in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Implement A/B testing and ensure that SEO best practices are incorporated in all development work.
- Perform regular site maintenance, backups, and ensure website security.
- Stay up to date with Shopify updates, tools, trends, and best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Shopify Developer with a strong portfolio of Shopify-based projects.
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Liquid templating language.
- Experience with Shopify APIs, Storefront API, and custom app development.
- Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
